My name is David Wells and I am the CEO of the Chocolate Jazz Foundation 501C3. I am endorsed by Conn & Selmer as a national performer, I was a nominee for the 51 st Grammy, I am a concert promoter in Nashville, TN, and the producer and host of the podcast, “The Bully Resistant Show with David Wells.” I have traveled the country as a full-time Smooth Jazz musician for eighteen years and for seven of those years I have devoted my passion to fight against bullying and the repercussions that bullying has, as well as providing motivation to students by speaking to our nation’s schools through my words, personal experiences, and most importantly my music.

As I’ve learned over the years through my career, we all have excuses as to why we don't pursue our dreams or why we give ourselves reasons to quit pursuing our dreams. Over the past seven years, the excuses I hear the most with students, is they don’t feel as though they have a enough strong support system in their lives or they don’t feel like they can accomplish their goals or dreams because they don’t have the confidence to do so. Being in the music business for as long as I have, I know more than anyone how important it is to have people in your life that support your dream. Fortunately, I have an amazing family and friends that have pushed me, even when I didn’t feel like I could go on, but sadly there are a lot of children and teenagers that don’t have that.

Through my motivational speaking and music I believe that I can change those student’s perspectives on following their dreams no matter what their situation may be. The reason that I'm in contact with you is to let you know that I would love to visit your school for an assembly during the next school year. Most assemblies I conduct will last 45 minutes and will include: a mini-concert, 2 -3 motivational videos, student participation, a motivational
message from a teacher, and much more....

2 Topics Per Assembly See Below

1. Dare To Dream

2. Making Right Choices

3. Anti Bullying, Being Kind

4. Three D's (Desire, Discipline, Determination)
